Teikoku Pharma USA, Inc. (TPUSA) was established on April 1, 1997, in Silicon Valley, as Teikoku Seiyaku’s first overseas base.
As well as undertaking the importation of Lidoderm, the first prescription medicated plaster to have obtained FDA approval, we also act as an intermediary for other overseas activities including surveying development of new products in the U.S. and licensing into Japan. |

Teikoku Pharma UK Ltd. (TPUK) was established on February 28, 2001, in London, as Teikoku Seiyaku’s first European base, and we now act as a European intermediary.
Among other activities, we survey possible product development within Europe or for licensing into Japan, and support the development of Lidoderm. Lidoderm is a local anesthetic plaster for the treatment of post herpetic neuralgia, currently on the market in the USA. |

On June 18, 2003, three companies, Teikoku Seiyaku, Fuso Chemical Co,. Ltd. and Qingdao Fuso Refining & Processing Co., Ltd. combined to form the new Fuso Teiyaku (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., based in Shandong in China.
At Fuso Teiyaku (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., we have incorporated Teikoku Seiyaku’s half-century of research into transdermal preparations, and its manufacturing technology, to become Teikoku Seiyaku’s first Chinese poultice plant. Here we produce medical adhesive products and external aqueous gel preparations. Our products are sold not only within China, but also to the Japanese and other international markets. |
