Rather than looking to expand the scale of our company, Teikoku Seiyaku instead aims to be what we like to call a "quiet innovator," in the sense that we use technology that is unique to us. In the context of being a "quiet innovator," Teikoku Seiyaku is a pioneer in the field of anti-inflammatory and analgesic plasters, succeeding in developing the first hot sensation plaster containing anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication that is absorbed through the skin. Since the company's foundation, we have continued in this vein and the tradition continues with Lidoderm as the first prescription plaster approved for the treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia in the United States.
